In addition to its public programs, the Mulvane Art Museum provides engaging educational experiences for the Washburn University community. The permanent collection houses over 6,000 works of art from around the world, including paintings, prints, drawings, sculptures, photographs, and decorative art. These objects can be used in courses across disciplines to provide concrete grounding for abstract ideas, help build visual analysis and critical thinking skills, and facilitate an active learning environment.
