Effective August 11, 2020, we are re-opening our gallery doors to the public with new limited hours:

Tuesday: 12 noon - 7 pm
Wednesday: 12 noon - 5pm
Thursday: 12 noon - 5pm
Friday: 12 noon- 5 pm
Saturday: closed
Sunday: closed
Monday: closed
ArtLab will remain closed through 2020

We look forward to welcoming you back to the galleries. Here are a few guidelines we are providing as we begin a phased re-opening of the museum:

  • Protective face coverings will be required for all who are able to wear them safely (ages five and older).
  • Disposable masks will be available for those not wearing masks.
  • Visitors are required to adhere to social distancing rules, staying at least 6 feet away from other visitors.
  • The number of visitors in the museum space will be limited to 25 at one time.

Visitors may call 785-670-2427 to reserve a spot and if one is available it will be held for no more than 10 minutes before being released to visitors on the waiting list.

ArtLab Hours

The ArtLab will remain closed through the remainder of 2020.

Tour Information

Gallery tours can be scheduled for groups of 5 to 10 people. Tours can be given using sign language or done in Spanish. Please call 785-670-2420 or email mulvane.info@washburn.edu ahead of time to schedule your tour.

Directions and Parking

Mulvane Art Museum is located on the north end of the Washburn University Campus in Topeka, Kansas. The Mulvane sits at the corner of 17th Street and Jewell Avenue, immediately south of White Concert Hall. Free parking is available west of the museum entrance.

Note: The Mulvane Art Museum is accessible to all people.  Handicapped Icon
