The Mulvane Art Museum fosters excellence and innovation in collections-related research, interpretation, publication, and conservation. The museum introduces new ways to curate and present art while positioning our collection and exhibitions as a unique resource for the university, the region, and the state.

The Mulvane Art Museum houses a collection of more than 6,000 objects from around the world including paintings, prints, drawings, sculpture, photographs, and decorative art. While international in scope, the Museum’s collection is focused on works by artists from Kansas and the Mountain Plains Region, and has a concentration in American art of the 20th century.
