The Mulvane's collection has grown to include more than 6000 objects since the museum opened its doors in 1924. In the last few years, museum staff have consciously increased the Mulvane's holdings in key areas. Gifts from generous donors and strategic purchases have enriched the collection, expanding the museum's representation of historical and contemporary artists of this region, creators from traditionally marginalized communities, significant 20th- and 21st-century photographers, and influential artists who actively shape current art conversations. Explore selected recent acquisitions below.
