The exhibition, The Other Side of Silence, is a collaboration between the Mulvane Art Museum, Washburn University Department of Art, and students from Museum Studies and 21st Centurty Art Practices. Visiting artist, Kate Horvat created an anchor installation, Who Knows America?, and worked with students in both classes.  Working with a selection of news articles collected from several news sources of a single day's news, students created collages that were then processed as silk screens.

The classes worked together as a team to mass produce silk screen prints of the collages that were then collected into a limited edition art book.  Students researched and produced labels, installed artworks, and developed marketing content.
