Armando Bogarin will be the Mulvane Art Museum's Visiting Artist this Fall. He comes to us from Paraguay through the state's Kansas Paraguay Partnership program. Bogarin has exhibited his work in many countries around the world. Here he will be creating an art installation in the main floor south gallery from August 27th through September 20th. Museum visitors will be able to watch the work progress over time until its completion in September. Bogarin's work is sculptural and serves to create a mythology about the protection of natural resources and the abuses that nature suffers. If you would like to meet the artist and discuss his work he will be in attendance at the September 6th (First Friday) reception at the museum.
