We have all been strangers at some point and experienced the fear of meeting new people. "Two Strangers Meet in a Parking Lot" provides a wonderful opportunity to meet unfamiliar people in a familiar place, the parking lot west of the Mulvane Art Museum at Washburn University. The two architectural structures are designed so two complete strangers will meet face-to-face. Visitors can enter the parking lot and encounter "The Strangers" by walking up nine steps, entering a small room at the top of stilts, and peering through a window that looks out to the adjacent structure. As strangers approach the windows they will come face-to-face with each other.
