Camry Ivory will discuss her experience as the guest curator of Concerning the Musical in Art: The Visual Symphonies of Rita Blitt, a celebration of the intersection between visual and musical art in Rita Blitt's work. Camry is an award-winning audiovisual performer and the inventor of the Coloratura, an instrument that creates music and art simultaneously. She was awarded the Mulvane's 2024 Rita Blitt Interdisciplinary Artist Fellowship, during which she presented a teacher training, led collaborations with Washburn University courses, and gave innovative public performances. As part of her fellowship, she curated Concerning the Musical in Art from the Rita Blitt Legacy Collection. Join Camry for a discussion of her process creating this resonant exhibition.
